SGC received with gratitude the telecom tower September 18th 2021 at their Bonanjo head Office in Douala Cameroon 

 AFOSE WORKS PLC a company involves in the development, deployment and maintenance of telecom infrastructure, solar energy system, tank cleaning, maintenances and rigging services in the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry has completed the Construction of 24 meters’ rooftop tower for Cameroon’s premiere award winning bank Société Générale Cameroun.

The award winning Bank, Best Trade Finance Provider, Best Corporate Bank and Best Retail Bank in Cameroon – SGC received with gratitude the telecom tower on the 18th of September 2021 at their Bonanjo head Office in Douala Cameroon

The Tower with a head load capacity of 4 meters square at a wind speed of 40 meters per second is a rooftop, constructed at the 10th level (some 32 meters above ground level 0) at the Bank’s head Office in Bonanjo, Douala.

The tower will habour Microwaves antennas to link other branches of the bank through RF signals. it will boost communication between the over 52 branches and agencies of the bank in Cameroon and permit the bank to maintain a leading edge over competitors in all the aspects of Banking and Finance in Cameroon.

The contract to construct the tower was awarded to Afose Works Plc in August 2021. The scope of the job as realised by Afose Works Plc included; Decommissioning of old and defective tower, site preparation, structural analyses of the tower, its foundation and components, tower design modification, excavation works, earthing and grounding works, rebar works, concreating, rigging up of tower and provision of bolts, turnbuckles, shackles, all the safety features and aviation obstruction signs and equipements to make the tower ICAO, ART, and other relevant standards compliant.
